Our junior squads are for players competing in match-play, club competitions or tournaments, and are divided into two categories:
Development squads are for players confident in their ability to serve, rally and score. These squads are a fun mix of drills, games and point play, focusing on the many tactics and strategies used in tennis. Players will really learn ‘how to play the game’ of tennis, with squad themes including serve and first shot placement, structuring a point as well as doubles positioning, to name a few.
These squads run for 60 minutes.
Our performance squads are for players on an elite pathway, and teach the more advanced elements and subtleties of the game. Squad sessions focus on tactics and strategies used at the highest levels of professional tennis, with a small amount of technical feedback. These sessions are a noticeable step up in intensity to match the physical demands of an elite pathway.
